About Me (Go on, you know you want to)

After almost two years of blogging right here in this very space, I have finally decided to post an about me page so you can sate your burning curiosity about the man behind the legend (in my own mind) that is Gankalicious.

While I feel this photo says it all, let me spell it out for you in five easy steps!

1. I am a high functioning introvert which means I can be the most charming, charismatic guy in any social situation, but I can't be arsed. As a result, I spend most of my time soloing with my dog(s) and the only woman I could find (after 30+ years of searching) who could put up with me. Now mit baby!
2. I am a long-time gaming addict who cut his teeth on Pong, Intellivision, Atari, and the C-64. Yes, I played D&D too but we won't ever speak of it again.
3. I like fine wine, good Scotch, nice ale, and a variety of musical genres. Preferably all four whilst playing games.
4. I have traveled. A lot. Last I bothered to count I have lived in over 40 homes across five countries including Canada, The U.S.A., Belize, Ireland, and Scotland. No, I am not a fugitive.
